Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassie Jones. Cassie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin? I get asked this question a lot, and most people assume I have the typical story of starting as a service provider and branching off, but honestly, my story is the complete opposite of what you’d expect. I’ve never placed a lash, never waxed a brow, never performed a facial, and never even considered doing services because I’m simply not good with my hands.

We recently connected with Cassieandre Jones and have shared our conversation below. Cassieandre, appreciate you joining us today. Talk to us about building your team? What was it like? What were some of the key challenges, and what was your process like? Yes, I had employees from day one — two lash artists and one brow artist. I started interviewing in October 2017, and we didn’t open until March 2018.

Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: Would YOU hire you? Why or why not? Yes, I’d hire me. I show up on time, I do things right, and I’m a little particular in the best way. I believe in hard work, accountability, and not cutting corners. I’m human, but if my name’s on it, it’s getting done properly.
